Overview of DBE's Search Marketing Services
You spoke and we’re listening! DBE recently performed a Client Satisfaction Survey, and one common response we saw was that many of our clients are not aware of all of the services DBE provides. Our newsletter seemed like a natural place to provide a quick rundown of what we offer to keep everyone in-the-know. Search Engine Optimization (SEO): Since 80% of people begin their searches for information on the Web at a search engine, optimizing your site is a key strategy to drive awareness, traffic and business. SEO combines on-site changes with off-site link building (what we call our WebRelations Plus™, or WRP, program) to help your site rank well in the natural listings for keywords that are important to your business. SEO is the core of DBE’s offerings, and we’ve been the experts at it for more than six years. Search Engine Advertising (SEA): Also known as pay-per-click, SEA is sometimes mistakenly referred to as SEM (Search Engine Marketing – which is actually an umbrella term covering both SEO and SEA). SEA is a great way to gain visibility and drive traffic while waiting for your SEO program to take hold. It can also be a valuable complement to an established SEO program, as studies indicate that a paid listing alongside a strong natural listing reinforces the brand and increases click through rate. All the SEA team members at DBE are Google AdWords certified, Yahoo Ambassadors and MSN adExcellence members as well. We specialize in all types of SEA programs, from local/geo-targeted outreach to international campaigns. Social Media Management (SMM): Web 2.0 is here, and it’s never been more important to interact with prospects and customers in their space and on their terms. DBE can help you integrate brand-appropriate social media marketing into your search marketing mix and will evaluate and develop marketing strategies for Web 2.0 digital outposts such as, Facebook, Digg, Twitter, etc. Our team can also create environment- and brand-appropriate content sets to populate those digital outposts and then manage and monitor them on your behalf. Search Engine Reputation Management (SERM): SERM leverages the search engines to protect brand reputations by employing SEO, SEA, and Social Media tactics on the brand’s behalf. Reactive SERM is much like crisis management PR, and works to push down negative listings by populating the search engine results with positive and/or neutral listings about your company. Proactive SERM is comparable to an insurance policy that helps protect a brand from attacks that can be launched from anywhere and picked up by the search engines – a pre-emptive strike, if you will. Optimized Content Development: DBE has a team of content specialists who can work with you to develop optimized Web site copy, blog posts, articles, press releases, or social media content. Light Website Maintenance: Optimizing your site includes making tag updates and content edits, which are easy to do, but can sometimes be time consuming. To keep the optimization process moving smoothly so that you can begin to see results as soon as possible, DBE can make the tag and content edits for your team. Deep Dive Analytics Analysis: DBE can help you make sense of your web analytics and turn that information into valuable marketing insights and useful action steps aimed at making the most of the qualified search traffic our programs are delivering.
