Deepa Maran, Group Manager, Technical Services Deepa joined DBE in early 2005 after cutting her SEO teeth as an optimization specialist for Venture Direct Worldwide, a direct response marketing company based in NYC.

Deepa is an active participant in the SEMPO Emerging Technologies Committee where members share information about new search platforms such as WAP, text, voice and interactive television. The committee is working on the development of research, case studies and best practices guidelines with the goal of providing SEMPO members with the knowledge and resources needed to develop successful paid and natural search campaigns with emerging channels.

Deepa earned a B.S. in computer science and engineering from Bharathiyar University, India. Her formal education coupled with over seven years of hands-on optimization experience makes her a true guru in the ever morphing world of search marketing. In addition to her SEO expertise, Deepa is also certified in paid search campaign management by both Google and Yahoo.
