KINGSTON, N.J. (February 17, 2010) - Digital Brand Expressions, LLC (DBE) announced today that it has made available a free downloadable checklist of seven things companies should consider when developing social media strategies and internal guidelines.

Based on DBE’s five-phase process for social media adoption , the checklist touches upon some of the most important things companies should consider as they develop a social media game plan for their organizations.

“We know that companies are coming around when it comes to acknowledging the importance of social media,” said Veronica Fielding, president of DBE, “We’re seeing fewer companies enacting restrictive bans on social media activities, and more companies are coming to us looking to leverage our process in order to pull together their social media programs with a strategic and protective approach. We put together this checklist to guide companies as they develop their social media plan, applying our expertise to help them avoid common mistakes and omissions along the way.”
